AI automation FAQ Straight answers.

The questions owners ask most before handing work to AI. Each solution page also has its own questions — linked at the bottom.

Working with Sadaat

What happens on the 20-minute call?

You tell Syed where the week goes and which tools you use. We pick the one workflow most worth automating, sketch how it would work, and tell you honestly whether it’s worth doing. You leave with a short written summary either way — no slides, no pitch.

Who will I actually work with?

Syed Ali Zaidi, the founder, leads every engagement from the first call to launch. Specialist help is brought in where a project needs it, but you always have one person who knows your business and answers your messages.

What kinds of businesses are a good fit?

Owner-led and growing businesses — usually 2 to 200 people — with repetitive work in calls, messages, quotes, invoices, documents or content. Trades, clinics, real estate and mortgage teams, and professional firms are where we spend most of our time, but the approach works anywhere work repeats.

Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?

Yes. We meet in person across the GTA and work remotely with businesses across Canada and the United States. Everything we build runs in the cloud, so location rarely matters.

What if we’re not ready for AI yet?

That’s a fine answer. Sometimes the best fix is a simple automation with no AI at all, or a cleaner process before any software. The audit tells you which, and we’ll say so plainly.

Cost & timelines

How is pricing worked out?

Every engagement is scoped on a call. You get a fixed price for the build and a clear monthly running cost — software, usage and support — before anything is built. No surprise invoices.

How long until something is live?

It depends on the workflow and the tools involved. We agree the timeline in writing during scoping, and we start with one workflow so you see real results before committing to more.

Do you only build, or do you also run it?

Both. After launch we monitor, tune and extend what we built under Run & Optimize, and send you a plain-English report on what it handled. You can also take it in-house — everything is documented.

Is there a long contract?

Terms are agreed in writing before work begins, and they’re designed so we earn the next phase rather than lock you in. You own the workflows and accounts we set up for you.

Data, privacy & safety

Will my customers know they’re talking to AI?

Yes — and we recommend it. Assistants introduce themselves as virtual assistants and hand off to a person whenever someone asks. Honesty builds more trust than pretending.

What happens to our data?

We collect only what a workflow needs, document where it flows, and use vendors that don’t train their models on your data. Our approach is designed around PIPEDA in Canada and the privacy rules that apply to your industry, such as PHIPA or HIPAA for health.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

We design for it. Anything involving money, prices or regulated messages goes through an approval step, assistants answer only from content you’ve approved, every action is logged, and there’s always a path to a person.

Who owns the automations and accounts?

You do. Accounts are created in your name wherever possible, credentials stay with you, and every workflow is documented so another provider — or your own team — could take it over.

Tools & support

Do I have to change my software?

Almost never. We connect AI to the tools you already use — your phone number, calendar, CRM, QuickBooks or Xero, job or practice software — through their official APIs where they exist.

Which AI models do you use?

Whichever fits the job best for accuracy, speed, cost and privacy. We avoid locking you into a single vendor, and we choose business plans that don’t use your data for training.

Can you work alongside our IT provider or agency?

Yes. We’re happy to coordinate with whoever manages your systems, website or ads, and we document everything so nobody is left guessing.

What happens if something breaks?

Workflows we run are monitored, with alerts when something fails and a fallback so leads and messages aren’t lost. We fix issues as part of Run & Optimize and tell you what happened in plain English.

Still have a question?

Ask it on a 20-minute call — or email us. You’ll get a straight answer either way.
